I must recommend this book:

Yeah I’m going all witchy on yo asses. This book is phenomenal. It basically says that your birthdate reveals everything about your personality. And boy is it bang on! It (obviously) goes through every date in the year, providing the characteristics of each day, and a complete personality profile. First off you get an initial breakdown on who you are as a person. Your strengths and Weaknesses. Then it talks about your Secret self. The person you inwardly know, that other people might not necessarily see. It then talks about Work and Vocation. Then Numerology – what your birth date signifies. Then Love and Relationships. It even tells you famous people born on your birthdate. It gives you the means to research further and find out your holistic number (based on all the numbers in your birthdate – year included, not just the day), which apparently influences your entire life and every aspect of your personality.
ANYWAY. It’s awesome. Seriously horrifyingly accurate. Whoever I’ve read it too, has gone a little quiet after wards. It’s amazing. And it’s always really fun when your friends are around, and someone says ‘do me!’, and then we all find out that they have tendencies to steal/stab people. I made that last part up.
I’m always intrigued by things of this nature. Astrology, Religion, Mysticism, The Universe in general…I was a bit of a hippy child. I used to wear Skinny Jeans and Doc Martins (aged 7. Alert. Alert.), and wore a lot of Yin and Yang. I used to collect Crystals too and use Crystal Pendulums to see who would win Horse Races. Interestingly enough, this book tells me I am inclined to mysticism. Basically a weirdo right? Well, I’m sure you picked that up from even skimming through this blog. Bless me.
Anyway, get me onto the subject and I will have purple cheeks by the end of the conversation. I’m fascinated by all of it. From the freak Scientologists (don’t even get me started on those ‘Free Stress Tests’ they give out. It’s the blatant brainwashing people in the street thing that gets me), to The Hubble Telescope. From The Dead Sea Scrolls to The Bible. From Horoscopes to Aliens to Derren bloody Brown. What we don’t know, and can only speculate upon is the good stuff. I’m not a religious person. I believe in something, like most people I guess. I just don’t know what it is. I’m open to everything really.
I also find religion really terrifying. I’d be too scared to commit myself.
I better stop here. I could sit here typing all day and all night.
One thing I do not believe in is Chinese Horoscopes. This was supposed to be my year. Year of the Rat? Screw that shit. This year sucks monkey balls.
